Exhibition Counters – Types And Practical Applications
There are many trade show display items that are easily available from a number of trade show stand companies to help make your trade show display more (effective|outstanding}. It is very likely that you will use a main display stand that will carry the bulk of your branding and design which may then be complemented by a number of less significant stands and accessories. These smaller displays and accessories may include roller banners, literature units, LCD stands and other items, but one of the most adaptable exhibition items has to be the basic counter.
There are various types of display counters available, each one suited to something different, providing a unique display solution. The basic definition of a trade show counter would be a portable unit that is roughly waist high with a usable surface that can act as a work top or presentation/display area. I’ll take some time to describe the various types of counters available and the different uses for each.
Pop Up Counters
Pop up counters are named after their construction and their ability to ‘pop up’ into an erect state with relative ease. After the frame has been set up, it is then fixed with shelving, a wood effect counter top and a printed graphic wrap. Pop up counters are suited to exhibitions and trade shows where a counter is needed for paperwork, a laptop, or for presenting requirements when interacting with customers. These counters aren’t the most easy to use because of the necessity to construct them beforehand, but they are some of the most stylish available.
Promotional Counters
Promotional counters are, as the name suggests, suited to the promotion of products and/or services. They are defined by the large graphics on the face of the counter and often feature a printed header panel which sits above the presenter on two long poles. These counters are great for busy environmentsbecause they don’t take up a lot of space and the top panel draws attention over the heads of a crowd. They can also be put away quite easily and stored in a carry case without much fuss.
Transit Case/Counters
Pop up displays are a staple exhibition display stand for many small to medium businesses when renting space at trade shows. Pop up stands come with quite a few pieces that require assembly and as a result can be tricky to transport without a dedicated transit case. Pop up transit cases have the ability to be made into a simple counter with the easy addition of a graphic panel and beech effect counter top. Even though the surface area of the counter top is not very substantial, it is strong and the case is hollow meaning that unused items can be stored inside until the trade show it is being used at is over.
There are of course, many variations to these counters, with different sizes and styles to suit many different situations. They can cost a lot or relatively little, they can be lightweight or of a more sturdy construction, they can be modern looking or very basic, but each one can present an effective way to interact with potential clients, either at a trade show or as a single promotional unit.
